2025- Break the chains

Breaking the chains explores the duality of the chain, between oppression and power.
Black, it embodies constraint and oppression, and symbolises a form of liberation; gold, it becomes an ostentatious sign of social success, particularly in the culture of luxury and bling-bling rap… But whether it hinders or adorns, it remains an indelible mark and thus questions the boundary between emancipation and new attachment: do we free ourselves by breaking our chains, or by transforming them into trophies?
