Lastly, in a similar vein and with unprecedented power of suggestion, ceramist François Ruegg erects a pair of tall boots as a frontal reminder of the threat that totalitarianism poses today to our multicultural and free societies. When he proposed his project in 2021, through this evocation of the march, the artist intended to relate the migratory aspects, taking into consideration, without judging them, all the human beings who move or are moved for political, social, economic or simply personal reasons.
